Chris, I got all the way through until I had to throw the baby in the lake, that never occured to me.




Right so first of all you have to talk to the Knight. To get to Trogdor's cave you have to smell, dress and be on fire like a peasant.


How To Get Smelly:


Hint: Before you start you might like to get the map of Peasantry from your burnt down house. Then you should probably have a look around so you know just what hte hell i'm saying.


First get pebbles from the left lake. Go to the well, type use crank, then put pebbles in the bucket. Bring it back up and collect the Pagan Mask.
Go talk to the Archer. To find his brother go to Poor Gary (the fly infested horse) and spook him out with the Pagan Mask. Go through the gap he makes in the fence and say "Haldo" to the guy you see there (that way he'll talk to you because of the whole brother story thing). Once he buggers off to see his brother, take one of the arrows from the tree. To get a bow to kill the Kerrek with you have to win the Archery prize.The brothers will only let you play if you give them something. Go to the little cottage with the berry bushes and search in all four of them, you should find a trinket. Give that to them and they'll let you play.


To Hit A Bulls Eye:
Strong wind left: align arrow a little right of the right leg of the target.
Strong wind right: align arrow a little left of the left leg of the target.
Weak wind left: align arrow with the inner side of the right leg.
Weak wind right: align arrow with the inner side of the left leg.
No wind: align the arrow with the bulls eye.
Press the space bar once. Press again when the first black arrow is in line with the red mark. Press again when the second black arrow is in line with the red mark.


Once you've won the Bow you can go and kill the Kerrek. No skill involved just type it. Once the dude is dead, take his belt. That's what's going to make you stink.


How To Get Dressed and On Fire Like A Peasant:


Go back to the cottage with the berry bushes. Walk inside and talk to the woman with the baby. She'll ask you to get her riches back from the Jonka (who has come out of his cave ever since you killed the Kerrek). The dry mud hole has been made really muddy by the rain that came after the Kerreks death. Go get gruby. Once you're covered in mud go hide in the hay bale. Wander over to the Jonka's cave now that you're disguised and steal the conveniantly placed pile of riches. The hay gets blown off. Then tell the Jonka you don't know where his riches went.
Give the woman back her riches and in return she gives you her baby and makes a run for it. Whilst you're in the house, take some of that chicken feed from the shelf.
Go to the fisherman and throw the chicken feed into the lake. He catches his fish and opens his inn again.


Before you do anything else, do these three things:
Throw the baby in the well.
Throw the baby into the left lake.
Show the baby to the inn keeper.


Then go check out the abandoned hut with no knob on the door. There's a loose stone on one side. Take it out and send the baby in. The baby opens the door for you and makes his escape. Go in and take the vintage peasants robe from the drawer.
Now you're dressed like a peasant!
Go back to the Fisherman's inn and ask to get a room. You wake up in the middle of the night and nobody's there. Check out the pantry and get the horse grease. It falls on your head and you have to navigate your way to the door. Once you're out in the open you take it off your head and consequently you're covered in very flamable horse grease. Go over to the Lantern that's lit because it's night time and get yourself on fire. Now you're all set to go kill Trogdor!


Killing Trogdor:


The knight lets you through because you finally look like a convincing peasant.You come to a cliff. It's pretty simple, all you have to do is climb up it and dodge the boulders. Once you get to the top, make your way into Trogdor's cave.
The first caped guy asks you to answer a Trivia question or give him something to eat. Give him the Meatball Sub the baby found down the well.
He gives you the Trogshield.
The second guy asks you to answer a Trivia question or give him something to drink. Give him the soda the baby found in the lake.
He gives you the Troghelmet.
The third guys asks you to answer a Trivia question or give him something for his sore back. Give him the pills the Fisherman was going to give to the baby.
He gives you the Trogsword.
Now for the moment you've been waiting for.
Once you're in Trogdor's cave ( and the beaded curtain has slammed shut behind you ), don't walk too close to him or you'll just get fried. Throw your sword at him. Trogdor'll wake up. Talk to him (quickly or you'll get fried) and you'll see the way things turn out.

Hey, I can't find out on how to make my guy say ANYTHING in Peasant's Quest...everone else seems to know, but I've got NO CLUE!!
