Chop chop chop while I sing this song.
I got my hair cut today.
To a lot of you, that may not seem like a big deal, and it probably isn't. But I've had pretty long hair for nigh on 4 years now, and it's gone. I mean like, all gone. I got 8-10 inches taken off today, leaving my hair about 1/4 inch on the sides and maybe an inch long on the top.
That cause for the sudden change is, once again, the Peace Corps. They don't demand that I get my hair cut or anything, but I know I won't get to bathe everyday, and when my hair doesn't get washed it gets uber-nasty. Also, this is a zero maintenance hair cut, so I can get up in the morning, rub it around a few times and head out the door. Quite a difference from wash, wash, condition, towel dry, comb, shake head, let dry then go. This will also be cooler and thus better adjusted to the tropical climate in Kiribati.
So, yeah, I'm obsessing a little about this, but there was a lot of hair on the floor when the lady was done.
Change is good, right? Right.
